It has been nice having some downtime being home in Bangkok the last 10 days or so but I am certainly ready to "get back at it." I have spent most of my time at the course working on my short game. I have especially focused on the basic fundamentals doing repetitive drills to instill the technique that I am working on. Most importantly these countless hours of practice have helped me to regain my confidence.
When I am not at the course, I have been spending a lot of time at the gym working out. I am fortunate that my apartment complex has a gym so I have no excuse to not get in there! I have also been swimming on a daily basis. It is honestly like my own personal therapy! For anyone that doesn't like running or other types of cardio, I highly recommend giving it a try.
I am currently improving everyday with the Thai language. With the guidance of the app "Learn Thai" that I downloaded to my phone and the help of a few Thai friends I have made, I am learning new words everyday. I can now go into a restaurant and successfully order and pay speaking Thai. (My biggest accomplishment to date in Asia, haha)
I am looking forward to the busy next stretch of events starting March 11th in Terengganu, Malaysia.
All the best,
Josh
