It was a pleasure to play Sutera Harbour Resort today! Unreal piece of property the course is on.
Selfie with the boys! I guess I missed the smiling part.

Last week was a positive week in the Philippines as I notched my highest finish of the year finishing the tournament T12th with rounds of (69, 75, 73, 73) (+2). The golf course Sherwood Hills played extremely difficult with firm greens and windy conditions for all four rounds. It was nice to get into contention and have a chance to win over the weekend. After struggling the week prior with my ball striking, it was a step in the right direction with how well I hit it in such windy conditions. If I drive it as well as I did moving forward I know I can win out here! I have this week off in between events and am staying with a few other American players at next week's site Sabah, Malaysia. Sabah is Malaysia's easternmost state on the island of Borneo. We are taking today off and will be enjoying an island hoping trip before getting back on the grind tomorrow! Onwards and upwards, Josh This past week in the Philippines was a fun week. The golf course was one of the most demanding courses I have ever played. With extremely windy conditions, fast greens, and small fairways it was a challenging test of golf. I finished the tournament t37th with rounds of 77,72,74,77 (+16). I struggled with my ball striking all week, missing far too many greens in regulation. A positive to take from the week was my short game was excellent. For most of the year to date in Asia my ball striking has been great and my short game has let me down. Golf is a funny game and this week it was the complete opposite. Moving forward, I need to put everything together for 4 rounds in an event. I am telling myself to stay patient as I know it will all come together eventually. The Philippines has been my favorite country I have visited thus far. It feels the most like home out of any of the other countries. It has been nice being able to communicate with everyone! I have a few days to work on my game before next week's event which starts April 22nd at a neighboring course to last week's event in the Philippines. All the best, Josh |
