It was a positive week in Jakarta, Indonesia on the ADT! The venue Damai Indah GC was in spectacular condition and one of the best courses we have played to date. I was feeling extremely sharp in all areas of my game heading into the event shooting a 10 under par 62 in a money game with the guys the day before the tournament started.
In the first two rounds I was a little off with my swing; but managed to birdie my last two holes in the second round to make the cut on the number. I hit the ball much better on the weekend and posted rounds of 71, 67 to climb up the leaderboard and finish the tournament at (-7) and T 30th. More than anything, I was pleased with how I stayed patient and found a way to shoot under par for the first two rounds when my timing was off and my swing felt out of sorts.
I am looking forward to our next event September 10-13th in Hua Hin, Thailand at Black Mountain Golf Club. It is approximately a 3 hour drive from Bangkok to Hua Hin so it will be an easy week of travel. Black Mountain is considered one of the best courses in Thailand so it should be an enjoyable week!
Onwards and upwards,
Josh
