It was a positive week in China getting back on track with my ball striking. Other than a 9 hole stretch in my second round, I played really solid having 3 rounds under par. I am hoping to put it all together for 4 rounds this week in Penang, Malaysia on the ADT and be in contention come the weekend. I finished tied 33rd last week at the Philippine Open. It was a brutally difficult setup with the course playing 7,800 yards, windy conditions, and firm greens. Needless to say, the scores were extremely high. I was pleased with the way I battled when things weren’t going my way over the course of the tournament. Today, I Monday qualified for this weeks PGA Tour China event in Haikou, China. Time to have a week! |
