Last week in Taiwan was disappointing missing the cut with rounds of 73, 78 (+7). Unfortunately, I was on the wrong end of the draw and had to play 6 holes in round 2 in heavy rain. I could not get comfortable and played this stretch 6 over par. I was unable to limit the damage and something that I will learn from moving forward.
Nonetheless, I felt great about the way I hit the ball in my other 30 holes but was simply unable to get anything out of my rounds. My putter was ice cold and I could not build any momentum on the greens. This will certainly be my main focus in the week's ahead! We currently have a three week break before our next event which takes place the first week of August in Manila, Philippines. I would like to wish my friend Oscar Arvidsson good luck this week at the British Open. Oscar was one of the first people I met at last year's Asian Tour Qualifying School and we have traveled together most weeks' since. He qualified a few week's ago in Scotland punching his ticket to the British Open. Cheers, Josh I am back in Asia and excited to get the second half of the year underway next week at the Taifong Open in Taiwan. I had an enjoyable 3 weeks home in the states getting to see and catch up with my family and friends. It is always difficult and certainly does not get any easier leaving home and saying goodbye for what typically has been 6 month periods.
